Sally Cone and her husband Matt deeply understand the vital role strong public schools play in our community. With their children currently enrolled at Bunker Hill Elementary and Memorial Middle School, the Cone family represents multiple generations tied to SBISD—rooted in the district and invested in its success. Sally has witnessed firsthand how our schools foster academic achievement, instill core values, build lifelong friendships, and create a true sense of belonging, from the excitement of elementary playgrounds to the independence developed in middle school.
Drawing on her professional background, Sally brings a straightforward, results-oriented perspective to the school board. She is dedicated to actively listening to parents and families, championing teachers, and ensuring accountability—always prioritizing students, parents, neighbors, and families over red tape and bureaucracy.
Sally is proud to run for SBISD Board of Trustees Position 2 to serve as a strong advocate for our children and our community. She will honor every student, respect every neighbor, and uphold the proud legacy of Spring Branch while working to secure even brighter opportunities for the next generation.
